The Office of Community Police Oversight is a department established to ensure complaints against Dallas Police Department (DPD) officers are investigated thoroughly and transparently.

Challenges: We received an extensive outline of updates the stakeholders wanted and required. We had to review all content and develop unique components that aligned with the City's web standards. We had to ensure the business requirements were met while also advocating user needs and accessibility concerns. We also underwent a change in leadership which added a new level of standards in our design process and component refinement to meet the satisfaction of the new management who came in mid project.

Project Outcome: After months of effort, working collaboratively and iteratively we were successful in meeting all requirements set from business and user standpoints. This project helped to refine many components within our style guide which will be reused for other department sites.
